Welcome, I am glad you are here.
My name is Dr. Solimar Santiago- Warner. I'm a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), specializing in working with moms. With nearly 20 years of experience, my background includes extensive work in various units at a children's hospital, such as the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Comfort Care Program (perinatal palliative care), Labor and Delivery, and Antepartum units.
I am dedicated to supporting all moms - whether you're a new mom, expecting mom, seasoned mom, working mom, stepmom, trying to conceive mom, or someone who has experienced multiple losses, traumatic childbirth, or had a baby spend time in the NICU or PICU. Because of my work at the hospital, I have insight on what patient’s go through as they are navigating their pregnancy journey and the difficulties /trauma encountered in hospital systems.
My clients have described me as thoughtful, kind, caring, patient, insightful, smart, relatable, and genuine. I believe in walking alongside you through life's challenges, embracing the raw moments and honest conversations where true healing occurs.
My pronouns are she/her/ella. I am a first-generation Puerto Rican & Dominican- American woman, fluent in Spanish, and a fellow mom who has experienced pregnancy loss and postpartum anxiety. I am also LGBT+ affirming and inclusive, serving all types of families.
I am dedicated to your well-being, committed to helping you feel seen, heard, and understood. Together, we'll create a safe space for you to express your thoughts openly and work through any obstacles hindering your desired relationships and life goals.
I empathize deeply with the pressures and hidden guilt that many moms carry—the constant feeling of not measuring up, whether at work, as a parent, or in our relationships. We often sacrifice our own well-being in this relentless pursuit of perfection.
As a career woman, I've wrestled with imposter syndrome while trying to find my place in the workplace. This struggle led to burnout, anxiety, and a loss of balance. Although your journey is unique, I understand the challenges you're facing because I've walked a similar path.
I faced my own battles in silence, dealing with pregnancy loss and postpartum anxiety after the birth of my second child. These personal and professional experiences ignited my passion and expertise in working exclusively with moms.
My online therapy practice caters to moms and moms-to-be, based in NYC but serving clients across New York and Connecticut. Online therapy offers flexibility, allowing us to schedule sessions around your busy life, including naptimes and appointments.
